We're fighting for Our Souls      Don Axsom 
Listening to the news and watching reports of California fires of 2008, it seemed like the world was on fire. In light of the suffering of a lost world this song came to me. As Christians we are called to a fight the good fight. Some of the words in the last half of the song are taken from Revelations 7:9 & Revelations 5:13

This song came to me early one morning after recording. It was a very intimate moment reflecting some specific moments in my personal prayer life.

Calling Out To You                   Don Axsom 
When my son moved away two years ago, I realize that children go on with the busyness of life with few thoughts of their parents while we as parents never quit thinking about our children. It occored to me that I often treat my heavenly Father the same way. As we long to hear from our children so God listens for our prayers, and is always there for us.
